Compact Products 800

ABB - Compact Products 800 is a range of products that can be used individually or combined to create cost effective control solutions. Compact HMI 800, AC 800M controllers with Compact Control Builder, Panel 800, S800L I/O and S800 I/O can all play key roles in your customized control solutions.

CONTROLLERS AC 800M controller can be configured with Compact Control Builder or 800xA control builder. In the first case, AC 800M is open for any kind of control solution. When configured with 800xA control builder, AC 800M becomes a tightly integrated part of 800xA DCS.

AC 800M Several CPU modules are available that vary in processing power, memory size, and redundancy support. Each CPU module is equipped with built in Ethernet port(s) for communication with other controllers and higher level applications. These ports can be configured for redundancy. Two RS-232C ports can be used for point-to-point communication with programming tools and third-party systems or devices.

	I/Os ABB I/O systems are comprehensive, distributed and modular. Communication with parent controllers uses industry-standard field busses. Thanks to a broad connectivity, they fit a wide range of controllers from ABB and other suppliers.
	S800 I/O S800 I/O system is usually installed in the field, close to sensors and actuators, reducing the installation costs by minimizing cabling. "Hot swap" of modules and "on-line" reconfiguration supported. Redundancy options available.
	S800L I/O With its cost-effective design and just 59 mm depth installation, S800L I/O modules are the perfect choice for PLC applications. Robust mechanics, one-piece handling, easy mounting and smart connections. Easy configuration with the AC 800M controller - all necessary information is preinstalled with the Compact Control Builder. Using GSD file, S800L I/O can be used with any control system.

ENGINEERING Compact Control Builder, is a powerful tool for creating control solutions and reusable control libraries for the AC 800M controller.

Compact Control Builder for AC 800M Controller Wide range of control functionality for ABB’s industrial controller AC 800M from Windows-based environment. From binary logic to advanced regulatory control, from discrete process signals to high-level process objects. Six programming "languages": Instruction List, Structured Text, Function Block Diagram, Sequential Function Chart, Ladder Diagram, and Control Modules. Compact Control Builder product package also includes an AC 800M OPC-server and a soft-controller for applications testing.
