Supervision and control of transformers vacuuming and impregnation process, in Končar KMT, is based on ABB equipment. Process controller is ABB Masterpiece 260 and operator station (HMI) ABB MasterView 820.



Purpose of modernization phase 1 was mainly adding new operator's workplace, based on new generation of ABB visualization systems (OperateIT - SCADA Portal). Added equipment comprizes: personal computer, printer and UPS. Via OPC server, EXCOM protocol and serial link, the PC retrieves data from the process controller and displays them to the operator.

The whole project, from ordering to commissioning, was completed in only three weeks.
