PAC-8000 Series

	OVERVIEW
	WinPAC-8000 WinPAC-8000 is based on PXA270 CPU (520MHz) running a Windows CE.NET 5.0 operating system. Rich connectivity and communication possibilities include: VGA, USB, Ethernet, RS-232/485 and 1/4/8 slots for high performance parallel and serial-type I/O modules.
	XPAC-8000 XPAC-8000 is based on AMD LX 800 CPU (500MHz) running a Windows Embedded Standard 2009 operating system. Rich connectivity and communication possibilities include: VGA, USB, Ethernet, RS- 232/485 and 3/7 slots for high performance parallel and serial-type I/O modules.
	iPAC-8000 Family of compact, modular, intelligent and rugged, distributed I/O (input/output) systems, designed for data acquisition and control. Connecting I/O either through a local bus or alternatively through I/O expansion or network extension.

	I/Os
	Local I-8K series I/O Modules These are high-speed modules, using parallel bus and supporting MCU (Main Control Unit) only.
	Local I-87K series I/O Modules These are lower speed modules, using serial bus and supporting both Main Control Unit and I/O expansion unit. Also supported: DCON protocol, latched DI, counter DI (100Hz), power on value, safe value and programmable AO slew rate.
	Remote Ethernet I/O Modules Applicable Ethernet I/O devices are from ICP DAS series: ET-6000, ET-7000, I-8KE4/8 and I-8KE4/8-MTCP. They support DCON or Modbus/TCP communication protocol.
	Remote RS-485 I/O Modules Built-in RS-485 COM ports support baudrate up to 115.2 kbps. Connection is a twisted-pair, multi-drop, 2-wire RS-485 network that can link ICP DAS I/O modules from series: I-7000, M-7000, RU-87Pn and high profile I-87K.

	ENGINEERING Engineering tools available depend on PAC type and options selected. Typical are:
	ISA GRAF ISaGRAF is software running on Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP. It supports IEC 61131-3 standard PLC programming languages and can run application generated by the workbench on any ISaGRAF PAC.
	VisualStudio.NET and eVC Software tools under Windows CE.NET 5.0: VisualStudio.Net 2003/2005/2008 and eVC solution: SDK as well as demo programs for C#, VB.Net and eVC; DLLs of I/O modules for eVC, VS.Net 2003/2005/2008, DLLs of Modbus/RTU and Modbus/TCP for eVC and VS.Net 2003/2005/2008, OPC server (Quicker).

	OPERATIONS Visualization tools available depend on PAC type and options selected. Typical are:
	Indusoft - SCADA With preinstalled Indusoft option, controller can be used to develop following applications: Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Web server.
	VisualStudio.NET and eVC Software tools under Windows CE.NET 5.0: VisualStudio.Net 2003/2005/2008 and eVC solution: SDK as well as demo programs for C#, VB.Net and eVC; DLLs of I/O modules for eVC, VS.Net 2003/2005/2008, DLLs of Modbus/RTU and Modbus/TCP for eVC and VS.Net 2003/2005/2008, OPC server (Quicker).
