	FIELD CONTROL STATION The FCS inherits the renowned reliability of the CENTUM series and is truly the most reliable FCS in the industry. The FCS features a fully redundant architecture for VL net communications, power supply, and CPU.
	Field Control Station (FCS) The FCS performs dedicated control functions. Physically the hardware can be matched to the requirements of the actual control application in terms of I/O and nodes (small to large) and thus, offer flexibility and expandability.

	FIELD CONTROL UNIT Field Control Unit (FCU) is the processor of the Field Control Station (FCS). FCU Control features include: regulatory control blocks, sequence control blocks, calculation blocks, SFC blocks, faceplate blocks, unit instrument blocks, subsys. integration and batch control.
	Field control unit (FCU) for FIO One field control unit has 8 slots for I/O modules. Further I/O expansion nodes can be connected via ESB bus or via ER bus. FCU types available: AFV10S (single) and AFV10D (duplexed) both for Vnet/IP, for FIO (Field network I/O), 19-inch rack mountable.

	FIELD NETWORK I/O FIO Nodes include: analog I/O modules, digital I/O modules, communication modules and power supplying. CENTUM I/O modules provide various choices for analog and digital I/O with various isolation and connector types.
	Node units for FIO Node Unit consists of: power supply modules, interface modules (ESB Bus or ER bus), and I/O modules (FIO). Rack mounting Node Unit types available: ANB10S for single ESB bus, ANB10D for dual ESB bus, ANR10S for single ER bus, ANR10D for dual ER bus

	ENGINEERING Engineering PC is a general purpose PC with engineering functions to perform system configuration or on-line maintenance. Other engineering features include: data exchange, virtual test, concurrent engineering and on-line documentation.
	System configuration Engineering Builder SW - minimum data entry simplifies the work of configuring a system. Only detail settings are necessary. Smart default settings available, with pull-down menus, and Standard GUI for all engineering builders.
	On-line Maintenance FCS applications can be changed without having to stop the FCS, and there's no impact on other control functions other than the portion being modified. Accordingly, the application changes are also reflected in HIS.

	OPERATIONS Human Interface Station (HIS) serves as a human machine interface for plant operators. Software packages are installed in a general-purpose personal computer. The HIS PC can be assembled in the console box.
	Enclosed Display Style Console HIS The HIS console inherited the legacy CENTUM console's style, can be placed in parallel with each other.
	Open Display Style Console HIS The new type of HIS console that adopts LCD monitors as displays.
	Desktop HIS HIS console using the general-purpose PC. Dedicated operator keyboard for the desktop HIS is assembled with the dustproof and drip-proof flat keys, and the keyboard maintains the same functionality as the operator keypad fixed atop the console style HIS.
	Operation windows Centum series HIS operation windows are: Graphic window, Overview Window, Control Window and Trend Window. Screen modes: multiple or full screen. One-Second Refresh Rate of Windows. Open interface OPC (OLE Process Control). Extensive security functions.
